Micro soccer is where it all begins! Harbor Soccer offers our Micro program for 4 to 5 year-old (U6) boys and girls. The program is an introduction to the sport with an emphasis on FUN and building individual skills and a lifelong love of the sport. Once a player completes the Micro program, they will be ready to move into Small Sided which allows for continued improvement of their soccer skills and overall knowledge of the game.

Micro soccer is played on a small field, using a small size 3 soccer ball. Coed teams of 6-8 players are formed by HSC according to the Rules of Competition from WYS and PCSA and coached by volunteer parents. Games are played on Gig Harbor area fields on Sundays, from September to early November in the Harbor Soccer Club Home League (HSCHL). Teams play 4 v 4 against other HSC Micro teams with no assigned goalkeeper.

All player registration is online. Registration opens April 1st and closes July 31st.  Registration fees include the players uniform kit and soccer ball. Early-bird registration fees apply April 1st to May 31st.  Teams will be formed no later than July 31st.  All teams will be looking for parent volunteer coaches.  Training sessions will be held 1x per week for 30-45 minutes starting late August and continuing for the remainder of the season; contingent on field availability and daylight hours.
