Email from Todd Lincoln, WYS Competitive Programs

The following is an email Harbor received from Todd Lincoln earlier today. Program Director Curt Carroll and DOC Joe Waters will provide additional information as it becomes available.

Sent: Thu, Jan 19, 2012 2:51 pm

Subject: Saturday Cancellations (League)

DOC’s, Administrators, and Club Officials,

Due to the extended exposure of nasty weather and the likelihood that many fields will be closed due to accumulated ice and snow, Saturday matches for RCL and State league play are suspended, to be rescheduled to another date.

Cup matches take a priority over league matches.  If Cup games need to be moved to Sunday, please advise your opponents in league play on Sunday to reschedule to another date.

Sunday matches, or local matches that involve very little travel, should try to be played if the conditions reasonable support it.

If you are a DOC and have fields or travel teams that are in question, please contact your opponents’ DOC to confirm the nature of the problem.

Cheers and thanks
