Time to break out your sketch pads, pencils and bootleg copies of photoshop -- it’s time for our first ever scarf design contest!

There is a great tradition of scarf culture in soccer, and it is time our club has one. Besides, proceeds from each scarf will go to offset the cost of playing soccer. You don’t have to be a pro to design a scarf and get it made, just be creative and gutsy enough to submit it for this contest. We will produce a winning scarf from one of the final 3 entries as judged by our committee and club members.

Submissions Deadline : SEPTEMBER 22, 2010
The HSC will create a shortlist of the submissions for a vote in September, with the winning scarf  available for sale by fall season of 2010.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSIONS
1. Use  template for designs
2. Stick to four colors
3. Be creative and adventurous!

All entries must be post marked or dated by September 22, 2010. They will then be reviewed by the HSC scarf committee. 3 finalists will be chosen , with our final winner being chosen from that group. Winner will receive the first FOUR scarves, plus an additional prize package from the club.

DESIGN DETAILS
1) All entries must use the template below.
2) Double-sided scarf: design/coloring may be different on each side
3) Club colors are dark green, white and black
4) Must use both HARBOR club logo and HARBOR PREMIER logo.
Other program logos optional
5) Be creative with a “MOTTO” HSC has no official motto to date
