Boys & Girls Birth Year 2016 thru 2018 in 2024 Spring Season

About the Program:

Welcome to our Jr Academy Program.  This program serves as the first step into Harbor Premier and allows players born in 2016, 2017 & 2018 the opportunity to play against like competition from other Regional Club League (RCL) teams around the Puget Sound area.  

Program Objectives:

Focus at these younger ages will be nearly 100% technical.  Individual ball mastery, coordination and control is essential before the more complex tactical side of the game can be taught. Games are an opportunity for these players to use these technical skills in a competitive environment.  The emphasis will be placed on this development and not on the win or loss.  It is our desire as a club to use this Jr Program to foster a love of the game while preparing these young players for the more competitive environment they will face ahead.  It is not designed to force the game to the point that the player losses desire to play or burns out early.  Fun must still be at the heart of all training sessions and games at this age and we will ensure this is exactly what we strive to deliver.

Spring (End of January-April)

Teams will break in December and early January.  Training will resume towards the end of January with 2x per week training.  Teams will again compete on weekend in either 4v4 Jamboree format or team may be entered into RCL U8 7v7 if deemed appropriate by Youth Director and Coach.

Cost:

Registration fee for Jr Academy program 2024 Spring program will be $455,  This will include:

- Spring league fees for players and team
- Referee fees for all league games
- Administration fees
- Coaching fees
- Field rental for games and training
- All tournament & jamboree entry fees

Jr Academy Director

The Jr Academy program will be run by Director Bryce Waddington & Trevor Jensen.  Trevor will oversee all teams and be in constant communication with each Head Coach. Bryce & Trevor will develop the curriculum for the entire group and work with each coach on delivery.  In addition, Trevor will be out running training sessions and attending games as his schedule permits.

Harbor Premier is very excited for the growth and development of these younger players.  We are confident we have put together a great program that will greatly benefit these younger players as they embark on their competitive soccer career.  We are also confident that we have designed it in such a way that the young player will foster a deep love of the game that will hopefully stick with them for the rest of their lives.  If you have any questions or would like to discuss the program further, please feel free contact us.
