Tim Duffy


Coaching Bio

Coach Duffy is moving into his 30th year of coaching youth soccer.

He started in the Federal Way Boys program in 1987. While in Federal Way, Tim led teams to 7 State up finals, winning 5 of them.

Most notable was with the Boys U19 Nitros in1989.  This is the 1st and only team to win Championship Cup from division 2. Coach Duffy was also able to take one of his teams all the way to the regional finals after beating national champions in semifinals.

Tim was the Washington State boys ODP coach in the early 1990s, then stepping up to Men's U23 ODP state college coach & Washington State Women's ODP Asst coach.

In 2007, Tim moved to Harbor Premier Soccer Club and into the girls program. Since then Tim has primarily coached mostly at the girls older ages with great success. In 2015, Coach Duffy was able to lead the Girls 2000 team from division 3 to division 1 in one year.

In 2016/17, Tim stepped back into coaching older boys, and had a very successful year leading the Boys 1998/99 team to a Quarter-Finals finish in State Cup.
