At Harbor Soccer Club, we believe the younger years are where a player’s love for the game really takes shape. Each fall, we see so many kids finish their Recreational/Select soccer season energized, improving fast, and wanting to keep going. To support that momentum, we’ve built a pathway that gives motivated players the chance to train in a more focused environment while still keeping the positive, community-first approach Harbor is known for.
One of the most important things we can do for young athletes is make sure they are placed in an environment that matches their current stage of development. When kids train with the right level of challenge and support, their confidence grows, their skills sharpen, and the game becomes even more fun. Below you will find information on the THREE Soccer programs that your child can be evaluated for.
To help us get to know each player, Harbor SC will host an Evaluation Day on Friday, December 12th at Sehmel Homestead Park.
Harbor SC Spring Select Development Program
Our Spring Select Development Program is designed for players who want more than the typical recreational season but are not currently playing in RCL. It blends competitive training with Harbor’s core goal: developing confident, capable players in a supportive environment.
The program includes:
Two practices per week starting in January
Six-game season in the North Puget Sound League (NPSL)
Games beginning in February and finishing in late March or early April
Open to Boys and Girls U9–U12 (2017–2014 birth years)
The Cost of this program will be $575 including kit
This is an ideal option for players looking to challenge themselves, grow their technical and tactical skills, and experience a higher level of play, Each player will receive training by a Harbor Premier Staff Coach.
Evaluation information:
Arrival time - 6:30pm-6:45pm to check-in early
Start time/End time - 7:00pm-8:30pm @Sehmel Homestead Park
Post evaluation placement information - Directors will email within 24 hours
Coach placement - We will announce Head Coaches after receiving correspondence from all players once they receive an official offer

Harbor Premier U8 7v7 RCL
This program is designed for players that desire to compete at the highest playing level. Harbor Premier's professional coaching staff is placed by the Directors of Coaching according to the needs of the age group and strengths of the staff member. Players can expect to be pushed to preform and encouraged to bring their best every time they step on the pitch.
The program includes:
Two-Three practices per week starting in January
8-12 game RCL season. Games in the Puget Sound area
Games beginning in JanuaryFebruary and finishing in April
Open to Boys and Girls U8 (2018)
The Cost of this program will be $850 including kit for NEW players
If your child currently plays within our Junior Academy and is selected for one of these teams, there will be a price increase of $495
Evaluation information:
Arrival time - 4:45-5:00pm to check-in early
Start time/End time - 5:15--6:45pm @Sehmel Homestead Park
Post evaluation placement information - Directors will email within 24 hours
Coach placement - We will announce Head Coaches prior to the Evaluation day
We will be forming 1x NEW Girls U8 7v7 RCL team & 1x NEW Boys U8 7v7 RCL team for the Spring

Harbor Premier Junior Academy 4v4 Program
Our Junior Academy program is designed to build skills, create friendships, receive professional Coaching, and continue to grow the love of the game!
The program includes:
Two practices per week starting in January
Games will be in-house or with local competition in the South Sound
Games beginning in February and finishing in April
Open to Boys and Girls U7-U8 (2019–2018 birth years)
The Cost of this program will be $575 including kit
Evaluation information:
Arrival time - 4:45-5:00pm to check-in early
Start time/End time - 5:15--6:45pm @Sehmel Homestead Park

Our coaching staff will be available on site to answer questions, talk through development pathways, and support families in determining the best next step for their player.
